A surprisingly versatile and useful instrument, the melodica is a fun way for a keyboard player to be a wind player too, controlling expression with breath control, and it can be carried around in your backpack! We will explore tunes from the genres of pop, blues, jazz and Brazilian, playing melodies and some chords as well.
The melodica is a great addition to a jam session! We will explore creating fills, guide tones, and soloing ideas. Some basic music reading is required.
