The Moveable Music School offers three terms a year. Classes are held in private homes and run from 1 1/2 to 2 hours, once per week, for 6 weeks. They generally include six to eight students and a host. At the end of the term, all of the participants and their guests are invited to a fabulous celebration – a concert featuring performances from all of the classes.
Registration
Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Because some courses fill up very quickly, it’s always a good idea to check that there is room for you in the course you would like to take. Once you are registered you will be contacted with the exact location of your course a few days before the class begins.
Payment
Unless otherwise indicated, courses cost $125, with an early bird discount of $10 for cheques postmarked by the Early Bird Deadline. Cheques should be payable to Moveable Music School and mailed to Rosemary Campbell, 104-2355 Trinity Street, Vancouver BC, V5L 1B9. If you prefer, you may also pay by Interac e-transfer. Hosting a class
If you have space for a class in your home, it might be possible for you to become a course host. You would get the course for free and keep in touch with your musical friends. If this appeals to you, please fill out the host form.
Scholarships
Thanks to the generosity of the Moveable Music School community, we are able to offer bursaries for up to 50% of the course fee, if you would otherwise be unable to participate in the school. Please get in touch.
